The project is in the Kalimantan region of Indonesia.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, initially will be responsible for developing and impelementing Operational Readiness plants for the IndoMet Operations.
The position is a leadership role to deliver Safety, productivity and efficiency. Leads Maintenance in the delivery of safe work practices and a safe work area. Develops a planning capability to ensure accurate work management plans are produced and aligned to the corresponding mine plans and SRF. Enables Superintendents and their teams to deliver the plan and react to unplanned maintenance activities. Develops a Detailed Elimination capability to ensure continuous improvement in availability and reliability. Manages costs to budget and is accountable for rectification of variances.
About You
You will have tertiary engineering qualifications or equivalent and strong experience in maintenance of mining equipment. Previous exposure to coal or other mining experience, particularly large scale open cut is highly desireable, as is experience working in other cultures. Interested applicants must be willing to be located in Indonesia.

BHP Billiton – Indolet Cost Projects is currently in search of a Manager Exploration who believes they can add value through supporting the management of the owner s team to successfully deliver capital projects.
The project is in the Kalimantan region in Indonesia.
Reporting to the Project Director, Manager Exploration will be responsible for managing drilling and other related data acquisition, validation and verification for various stakeholders to build a reliable geological database required for mine design and related engineering purposes. You will provide direction to the Exploration team and Contractors and Introduce BHPB systems and procedures especially in respect of HSEC that are consistent with best practice within BHPB. In the longer team you will be responsible for a strategy of exploration to maximize the Maruwai Basin potential in line with the Metalurgical Coal strategy and ensure that due diligence is given to the relinquishment requirements within the terms of each CCoW. This will include identifying the most promising opportunities including underground deposits.
About you
You will have tertiary geology qualifications and strong experience in coal exploration and development. You will also have had exposure to high rank coal analytical methods. An ability to understand regional and local geological conditions of the project area and proven experience with managing exploration programs in remote areas is essential. The role whilst having input to the strategy of the operations, focuses on the execution of MetCoal strategy and day-to-day management of the operation. You will deliver on safety, volume and cost to plan – safely and efficiently deliver tonnes as per one integrated plan, for all mining Operations.
